Robbert van de Corput (Breda, Netherlands, January 7, 1988), better known as Hardwell, is a DJ, producer and remixer Dutch of EDM and owner of Revealed Recordings. In 2013 and 2014 he was considered as the best DJ in the world according to the annual survey conducted by the magazine DJmag. Currently, he is ranked #4 in the 100 best DJs in the world.
Hardwell is well known for his hit single called "Spaceman" and live performances at major festivals, such as Ultra Music Festival and Tomorrowland, also for his Podcast "Hardwell on Air" which is available in iTunes, YouTube, and in several other platforms.
His father taught him to use the piano. At the age of 10, he discovered his passion for music, and when he is 12, he began his career as a DJ making presentations in different clubs in Holland, achieving a good recognition in his country for his innovative mixes. At age 16, there were already 4 albums in his name. He is currently recognized worldwide by the electronic music industry, he is considered one of the best DJs in the world for his performances in Tomorrowland and the Ultra Music Festival Miami.
In 2006, he released his album "Electric Beatz", which combined varied styles, mixing Latin sounds and electro, with good sales, being one of the bestselling albums of the year. In 2010, he released volume 10. In 2007, he made some remixes. His remix with R3hab of "Toys Are Nuts" for Gregor Salto and Chuckie. The remix occupied more than 1.5 weeks at #1 on Dance-Tunes.com. Also his remix of "You Do not Love Me" for Sidney Samson&Skitzofrenix was another of the songs released the same year.
"Feel so High" along with the Dutch singer, I-Fan, has been published in 10 countries, has had support from some names of the house scene and is accompanied with a video. "Guess What", is a co-production with Chuckie, was another of the most successful singles. His bootleg made in 2008 ("Show Me Love vs. Be") composed of songs like "Show Me Love" by Robin S. and "Be" by Steve Angello and Laidback Luke, was well received and acclaimed by the DJs from the electronic scene. Because of this Steve Angello, Laidback Luke and the singerRobin S. decided to reissue "Show Me Love" in 2009. In 2009, he played on the main stage of Dance Valley, the largest festival in the Netherlands where he was also responsible for the "Twilight Zone" theme that year, as well as make a remix of the song "Let the Feelings Go" by the group AnnaGrace.
Also worth mentioning are the remixes he did for some of the best DJs according to DJ Mag Top 100, such as Fedde Le Grand, Armin van Buuren, Bob Sinclar, Chris Lake, Funkerman, Luke Laidback, Sharam, Steve Angello, Booty Luv and Hi Tack. Hardwell has also achieved good positions in the leading lists of the Netherlands, "Dance-Tunes.com" a total of 8 times in 2009. He has also mixed the "Privilege Ibiza Compilation" with Cosmic Gate.
Another of Hardwell's releases was his version of the Red Carpet classic, "Alright", in 2010, as well as having support on the tracks in DJs like Tiesto, Roger Sanchez, Armand Van Helden, Fedde Le Grand, Chuckie among others. It was one of his biggest record hits until then, he managed to stay in the Top 10 of the Progressive House list on Beatport for more than 6 weeks.
In 2011, he remixed "Stars" for Gareth Emery, converting this trance genre song into an explosive Progressive House style song. It was included in the remix album "Northern Lights Re-Lit" released by Gareth Emery, in March 2011.
In February 2011 it was released in digital format by the Musical Freedom record label, its theme in collaboration with Tiësto called "Zero 76", which in turn is the area code of the city of Breda, where both are native producers. In 2012, he released "Spaceman", a single that greatly expanded his recognition, "Call Me a Spaceman" and "Apollo", lists of successes of the Netherlands, and also, that same year made his first presentation in Tomorrowland.

On January 18, 2018, Hardwell said that the third volume of his Hardwell and Friends EP would be releasing soon, with a novel track coming out every day as of 19 January. The next day, Hardwell premiered the EP in the 350th episode of "Hardwell On Air". On 23 January 2018, he released "Woest", a shared work with Quintino. On 24 January 2018, he released "Get Low", collaborated with Sick Individuals.
