Just looking into this girls eyes you can see her beautiful soul. She is too full of life to be cooped up in a kennel for 23 hours a day. Don't let life alone behind bars be all she knows... I have shared Bella's story with all of you before, yet she still spends her days alone and forgotten @brookhaven_animalshelter. Poor Bella has spent more than half her life in the shelter. It's so hard for me to believe that there is not one single person out there that can open their heart and home to a wonderful dog like her.
Bella is a big silly girl who wants nothing more than to be your sun, moon, and stars. She was picked up as a stray by an Animal Control Officer in February of 2016. Her owner came down to the shelter and instead of taking her back home, signed her over--simply heartbreaking!!
Bella’s family had gotten a puppy and Bella is not a fan of other animals so she was put in a separate room, and then abandoned by her family. This poor girl’s dream is to belong to a family of her own, to be your loyal and loving best friend. Won't You please give her a chance?
Bella is playful, energetic and enjoys a good game of fetch. She is estimated to be about 2 years young, 70 pounds, up to date on vaccinations, spayed, micro-chipped and heart-worm negative. While Bella loves people, she would do best as your one and only--no dogs, no cats and no young children.
I am asking for everyone’s help once again! Renovations have begun at the Town of Brookhaven Animal Shelter and Bella needs out NOW! $500, plus all her favorite toys, will be given to an approved rescue who pulls Bella from the shelter.
Since Bella is favorite at the shelter, one of the volunteers, is also sponsoring her. She thinks Bella is an amazing girl so if you are an individual who is interested in adopting, or know someone who is, Marion will pay the adoption fee plus all Bella’s favorite toys. #adoptdontshop, #shelterdog, #nydog, #adoptabledog, #forgotten, #brookhavenanimalshelter
